The subjects of IBPS Clerk exam are as follows:
Preliminary Exam - The Preliminary exam has 100 multiple-choice questions from English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. The total duration of the exam is one hour. Each section has 20 minutes and 30 questions. The maximum marks for each section are 30. There is negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Main Exam - The Main exam has 190 multiple-choice questions from General/Financial Awareness, General English Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude. The prelims exam of IBPS Clerk comprises questions from Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language. The Mains exam comprises questions from Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, Quantitative Aptitude English Language, and General/ Financial Awareness. The total marks allotted to the prelims exam are 100. The total marks allotted to the Mains exam are 200.
