What are the subjects offered for the IAS exam
sir, i would like to prepare for IAS exam. I am a B.Tech graduate in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation. please give me information regarding the subjects i should choose to prepare for the exam.

Hi,
To qualify for IAS, the minimum requirement is to qualify the Civil Services entrances that are conducted by the UPSC. The exam is carried out in two parts:
Preliminary Exam (Written test)
Main exam & Interview (of the selected candidates)

although u r student of engineering but i would recommend you public administration, history,anthropology as your subject fort this exam.

You can select the subjects which you have taken in Degree which will be useful for you and easy to write.
