SPJIMR, like many top B-schools, considers a holistic profile when selecting candidates for their MBA program. A good academic record in your undergraduate studies demonstrates your ability to handle rigorous coursework. It often have a minimum work experience requirement (typically 3-5 years). A high score in the Common Admission Test (CAT) or Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) demonstrates your quantitative and verbal abilities.

SPJIMR selects candidates for PGDM based on their profiles. The profiles are evaluated, and the aspirants are sorted into two groups: Profile-based and Profile-cum-Score-based. In the first phase, candidates are selected based on their profile are called for a Personal Interview (PI). The second phase is held after the availability of entrance test scores. Candidates look for below requirements in a profile:
