What are the tie-breaking guidelines for GCET/Goa BE admission process?

<p>In case two or more candidates have secured the same rank, then the authorities will follow the tie-breaking guidelines to prepare the GCET/Goa BE admission merit list. Firstly, the candidates who secured more scores in the Mathematics section will be allotted a higher rank. If the tie still remains, then the candidates who have secure more marks in the Chemistry section will be given a higher rank. If the tie still remains, then the candidates with a higher aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will be allotted a higher rank. Next, the Mathematics scores secured in the 12th standard qualifying exam will be considered. Finally, if the tie still persists, then the candidate who is older in age will be allotted a higher rank.</p>
