  • In case two or more candidates have secured the same rank, then the authorities will follow the tie-breaking guidelines to prepare the GCET/Goa BE admission merit list. Firstly, the candidates who secured more scores in the Mathematics section will be allotted a higher rank. If the tie still remains, then the candidates who have secure more marks in the Chemistry section will be given a higher rank. If the tie still remains, then the candidates with a higher aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will be allotted a higher rank. Next, the Mathematics scores secured in the 12th standard qualifying exam will be considered.
