  • In case two or more candidates secure the same marks in the examination, then the authorities will follow the tie-breaking guidelines to determine the merit rank. The order-wise tie-breaking rules have been listed paper-wise below.

    Paper 1:

    • Candidates with less negative in total will be given a higher rank.
    • If the tie still persists, then the candidates with more positive marks in Mathematics will be allotted a higher rank.
    • In case the tie is not broken, then the candidates with less negative marks in Mathematics will be given a higher rank.
