    Go through your past year papers of your own state and look for the type of questions asked. Practice a lot of maths and read and revise social science from your text books to gain an edge. In paper 1, focus more on mental aptitude rather than the language because language marks are not counted. Practice a lot of sample papers as well. Last, but most important of all, mark properly in OMR. All the best.

    Hi Srajan,
    The National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is the most prestigious scholarship exam at the high school level in India. It is conducted in 2 stages and is open only to Xth graders. The first stage is conducted in each and every state and union territory (total of 36 regions) and few toppers are selected from the large pool of students to appear for stage-2. Each state has a particular quota for selection based on the population and enrollment ratio of Xth graders. It requires two things: Dedication and smart work.
