The value of each scholarship is Rs. 25,000/- per annum. 15 scholarships are for students under general merit category (GM) and are named after Late Sri.Ramakrishna Hegde, former Chief Minister of Karnataka. 15 scholarships are for students under OBC Category and are named after Late Sri. Devaraj Urs, former Chief Minister of Karnataka. The scholarships are awarded to meritorious candidates. Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, Kolar, which is a constituent of Sri Devraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research, also provides scholarships to the students. The institute provides several scholarships to the students for their welfare. Sri Ramakrishna Hegde scholarship is awarded to the GM students and the Sri Devaraj Urs scholarship is for OBC students. The total amount of scholarships awarded is around 28,00,000. Students can also apply for scholarships and financial assistance from the Karnataka government. For the top 25 rank holder of each batch, the college provides per annum 25000 to them, and the only condition is to pass without backlog.
