JEE Main cutoffs are primarily divided into two types: the Qualifying Cutoff (for JEE Advanced eligibility) and the Admission Cutoff (Last ranks for NITs/IIITs/GFTI seats).

JEE Main cutoff is of two types, one is qualifying cutoff for JEE Advanced and the other is admission cutoff for the institutes. JEE Main qualifying cutoff is released by the NTA along with the result and is in the form of percentile scores. NTA releases JEE Main cutoff for a total of six categories
