Mass communication means relaying or broadcasting a message to a wider audience while personal communication means limiting the thoughts to texts or one-on-one conversation, and making the information unable to be retrieved by others.
The various types of mass communication are radio, television, newspapers, magazines, internet, while types of personal communication are - memos, to-do lists, reminders, drafts, one-on-one interviews, and telephonic conversations.
