    The questions included in Andhra Pradesh EAMCET question paper are multiple choice, objective type questions. For Engineering stream, the question paper consists of 160 questions, with 80 questions from Mathematics, 40 questions from Physics and 40 questions from Chemistry. If two candidates score the same marks in Andhra Pradesh EAMCET 2025, the tie-breaking rules are applied in the following order to determine their rank:

Tie-Breaking Criteria (Engineering Stream):

  • Higher marks in Mathematics section of Andhra Pradesh EAMCET.
  • If still tied, higher marks in Physics section.
  • If still tied, older candidate (by age) gets preference.
  • If the tie still remains, the lottery system (random number) may be used.

For Agriculture & Pharmacy Stream:

  • Higher marks in Biology.
  • If tied, higher marks in Physics.
  • Then, age (older candidate preferred).
