Candidates applying for admission to UMass Boston for an undergraduate course will have to submit the following documents along with the admission application:
- Application fee of USD 100
- Official school transcripts, leaving certificate, etc.
- Recommendation from a school counselor
- Essay of 500 words
- ACT or SAT test scores
The following English language proficiency test scores are accepted at UMB for admissions:
- TOEFL iBT: 79+
- IELTS: 6.0+
- SAT (Evidence-Based Reading & Writing (ERWS): 480+
- ACT Reading and English: 34
- Duolingo English Test: 100+
