The University of North Carolina Wilmington sponsors sports like Soccer, Cross-Country, Basketball, Volleyball, Softball, Tennis & Field, Tennis, Golf, etc. In all, UNCW fields 8 men’s and 10 women’s NCAA Division I teams. Also, note that the 5 Athletic programs – Baseball, men’s soccer, men’s golf, women’s tennis received the NCAA Public Recognition Award for placing among the Top 10 nationally in the classroom.
