There are unlimited growth and prospects in photography. It depends how good your composition skills are. Any person with good camera or a phone can become a photographer but one has to have his/her focus right. Also, what market are you trying to capture. Wedding, candid, travel, human. You can sell your photographs, you can be a photo journalist, you can be a photo blogger, or you can be a professional photographer. If you can make a name for yourself in the market, there's no stopping.
