<p>There are numerous colleges in India offering a B.Tech in Biotechnology. The course blends the subject matter of biology and technology together. A few of the top colleges that have it are IITs: IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur; NITs: NIT Warangal and NIT Trichy. Some other prominent ones are Amity University Noida, VIT University Vellore, SRM Institute of Science and Technology Chennai, and Manipal Institute of Technology Manipal, to name a few; such colleges offer strong academics and research, along with excellent placement in the Biotech field.</p>

National Institutes of Technology (NITs) like NIT Trichy and NIT Warangal are also highly regarded for their biotechnology programs. The others are Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani, the Manipal Institute of Technology, VIT University located at Vellore and Chennai-based SRM Institute of Science and Technology; it is also among good places for pursuing Biotech in terms of curriculum plus other modern facilities.</p>
