What are the various combinations available for Civil Service mains exam?
r these combination subjects good or not 4 preparing civil cervices exam? neither subjects i had in my graduation but i m interested in reading philosophy.how many years i must prepare b4 sitting in prelims exams?

subject never matters, ur efforts matters while attempting the paper.And Philosphy and public add both are good subjects. study the syllabus proper and i guess u will succeed. wish u all the best. -

Hi Anoop, Since you have already started preparing taking philosophy and political science as your electives, my suggestion would be to go ahead with the same combo without deviation. But since philosophy is a vast subject and you have to cover both Indian and Western philosophies, parts of psychology and sociology, you may have to work real hard. If you chalk out a proper plan and work your plan , i'm sure you'll be able to succeed. I'd also request @girishehmani@Nikhilesh Mathur@ Pooja Kohli@ Priya to add on to this.
