  • It is believed that an individual’s behavior is affected by the people and surroundings. Thus, analysis at different levels is required to comprehensively understand human behavior. Given below are analysis in Applied Psychology at various levels:

    Level

    Description

    Societal level

    Social norms and customs affect a person’s behavior in public spaces.

    Communal Level

    The geographical area and the values of the community to which a person belongs.

    Organisational Level

    The job profile and job role a person has in an organisation along with the hierarchical structure and communication system of the organisation

    Group Level

    General rules or practices in a group of people be it formal or informal grouping.

    Individual

    The learnings from other people incorporated into one’s life.
