What are the various sports facilities offer at LPU?

LPU has a largest place for sports facilities. A number of games are there. The biggest swimming pool customised according to high level training. Sports Students have a lot of benifits for using gym and sports area. LPU took initiative for the students in every area. No compromise is there.

The campus of LPU houses 5 playgrounds (157062 Sqm) adjacent to boys hostels and girls hostels provide immediate access to cricket grounds, football grounds, hockey grounds, basketball courts, boxing rings, volleyball courts, skating zone, etc. Snooker lounge, in-house bowling complex, With 4 lanes and tens of arcade games, roller skating rink. Etc. Many sporting events of the given sports are conducted here: Cricket, Football, Badminton, Handball, Javelin throw, Shot put, Athletics, High jump, Shooting, Archery, Wrestling, Boxing, Hockey, Rugby, Tennis, Table Tennis, Basketball, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Baseball, Fencing, Squash, Swimming, Weightlifting and so on. It also has the Shanti Devi Mittal Indoor Stadium here has multifarious facilities under one roof which include 6 Squash Courts, 1 Basketball Court, 3 Volleyball Courts, 12 Badminton Courts, 1 Shooting Range (25 Lane), 3 Swimming Pools, 1 Fully equipped Gym, Weightlifting Room, Chess Room, Yoga Room, and Aerobics room, Taekwondo arena, etc.

When it comes to sports facilities, Lovely Professional University has one of the largest and advanced Indoor Sports complexes. Starting from 20 Badminton Courts, Squash Courts, Shooting Range, Olympic Size Pool, Separate Diving Pool, Wrestling and Boxing Arena, state-of-the-art Gymnasium and many more unmatchable sports facilities. In addition, LPU also hosts various AIU Championships, AIIU Competitions and other National and International Competitions. LPU never lacks in sports opportunities or competitions, they even conduct many National and International Sports championships in which you'll witness the worlds the finest sportsperson is competing against each other. LPU students have exhibited their prowess at international level and regularly hosts inter as well as intra-university sporting tournaments.

I am listing down some of the facilities which are offered by LPU 1) Full programme fee waiver to A+ sportsman 2) Accommodation with attached washroom 3) Deluxe diet 4) Personal Lockers 5) Food supplements 6) Free Gym and Indoor Sports facility 7) Trainer LPU never lacks in sports opportunities or competitions, they even conduct many National and International Sports championships in which you'll witness the world the finest sportsperson competing against each other. Recently, Parveen - The International Woman-boxer who has been doing rounds in the news, is a B.Sc. A student in LPU who has carved her name in the history of World Championships 2022 won a Bronze medal. I hope I have cleared your doubt.
