LPU is a first private University having ICAR accreditation. ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) co-ordinates agricultural education and research in the country under the aegis of Ministry of Agriculture (government. of India). LPU School of Agriculture has been granted accreditation by the National Agricultural Education Board of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, making it the first and only private University in the country to receive the accreditation. Horticulture (Floriculture and Landscaping) B.Sc Agriculture student of LPU is well prepared to sit for all exams in the agriculture sector, pesticides and SEED production departments, etc. LPU has been ranked by NIRF among the top 100 universities including the IITs because of its worth. LPU is the only private university that has ICAR approval. LPU students got top packages from leading Agriculture companies. Students of School of Agriculture are placed in Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance retail, Syngenta, Bio SEED Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Amazon, Sanra organics and many more. The package really depends on what he can show to the recruiters that, how much he is worth or deserved. There were some students who cracked the placement and got offered 1 crore LPA, while many failed to do so.
