What are the VUSAT selection process parameters?

Candidates qualifying VUSAT exam have to appear for Admission rounds. The interview will be conducted for a duration of 15 minutes. Below are VUSAT selection rounds:

  1. Learning potential: 50% weightage
  2. Ability to communicate and present ideas: 30% weightage
  3. General Awareness: 20% weightage

For VUSAT cousnelling, candidates must carry following documents:

  • Class 10th Mark sheet and passing certificate
  • Class 12th Mark sheet and passing certificate
  • VUSAT Admit Card 2026
  • Counselling call letter
  • Category Certificate (if applicable)

All questions in VUSAT question paper Part A will be objective type questions. Candidates will have to select correct answer for each question. VUSAT question paper will include 75 MCQs. Each question will be of one mark. Whereas, Part B of VUSAT question paper will be descriptive.

Candidates can refer the table below to know the VUSAT marking scheme:

SectionMarking Scheme
Part A (Mathematical Ability, Logical Ability and English comprehension)+1 for every correct answer (75 questions)
Part B (As per the subject expertise)+12.5 for every correct answer (2 questions)
