Chandigarh University provides a very promising environment for students pursuing BE in Automobile Engineering. The course structure is not only contemporary but also very industrially oriented. Facilities like Mahindra T-school and Hyundai Professional Excellence Centre give students live access to automobile technologies. Well I don't have idea about CU,Being a alumni of LPU,I would say LPU is best for automobile engineering.There are very Good placements in reputed companies. Students participate various events like go kart, entertainment events, project exposure like one India , one world etc. The learning based on Practical based and value based.
LPU adopts new technologies faster than anyone, they update their curriculum even after each semester by taking feedback from the students and also to meet the latest standards. LPU focuses on practical knowledge a lot, they have high tech labs and dedicated MAC lab for iOS development, each core subject has a different practical subject for it.
Curriculum in Automobile branch is very well designed such that they can learn everything from basics to the in-depth knowledge of their field. The College takes them for the industrial visit for more growth and experience. It hands on experience by also working on live projects to develop a sense of problem-solving and critical thinking in order to gain real-life understanding along with skill enhancement. In addition to core curriculum, the course offers subjects like communication and soft skills to enhance personality.
LPU provides a lot of opportunities to each and every of the eligible students for good placement. LPU rated as 11th Best in India from Zee News Survey in Placements.
Various major companies take part in recruitment at LPU every year, some as Volkswagon, Voltas, Anglo Eastern Ship Mgt., Asahi India, Rockman (Hero group), Dharam Consulting, Samundra, Indo-MIM, Sandhar Technologies, JK Lakshmi Cement, Maruti, Lava, XL Dynamics, Asahi India, Cleanmax Solar, Elgi Equipments, etc. On an average, 200 MNCs visit our campus every year, placing around 2000 students every year. Packages vary from 7.9 LPA to 30lpa based on the individual skill.
