    There are many career options that you can opt after completing B.Com honours. The most common choices are:
    1) Chartered Accountant (CA)
    2) Masters of Commerce (M.Com)
    3) Masters of Business Administration (MBA in Finance)
    4) Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
    5) Certified Public Accounting (CPA)
    6) Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
    7) Business Accounting and Taxation (BAT).

    Hi Shreya, As it seems that you're from the commerce background, then I would suggest considering a few short-term certifications courses that surely help you with your career building!

    There are plethora of opportunities available for you after doing B.Com Honors, it just that in which field you want to pursue your career. You can start working with any small consultancy firm, as being a B.Com graduate you have sufficient knowledge about taxation and accounting. Gain some experience and then go for MBA. With few months of work experience it will give you advantage in MBA over the other Freshers, who are without any work experience, during your placements.     After completion of B.Com. (Hons.), you can apply in any organization for the post of accountant. Every company requires accountant to keep track the profit and loss of their company. One must have knowledge in areas like Basic Principles of Accountancy, Cost Accounting and Management Accounting to be an accountant.
