    You may try for jobs in companies or in academics either at home or abroad. You may start your own firm also. But if you wish to opt for higher studies, then a Ph.D. would enhance your job prospects in academics and R&D institutions such as DRDO/ISRO and so on. You may also top yourself up with some short term courses your area.

    Hi,One can pursue the following option after M.Tech :-
    * Ph.D. (research in India as well as abroad),
    * Teaching (after M.Tech you can join the faculty in various colleges and universities), Management (you can pursue MBA),
    * Academicians (you can join a college as a faculty, professor),
    * Entrepreneurship (you can start your own firms with your ideas and projects),
    * Government Job (you can write GATE again and attempt PSU) or
    * Corporate Job (work in MNC).These are the options which you can do after M.Tech.
