What can I do after B.Com?

Commerce graduates have options of doing higher studies in degrees such as: 1. M.Com. 2. MBA. 3. MCA. 4. LLB. 5. PG Diplomas. 6. Industry certifications. M.Com focuses on commerce, accounting, management and economics related subjects and prepares you for finance and accounting jobs in enterprises. MBA is a generic course on business management and administration and it focuses on functional areas of business such as accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, and operations. MBA provides wider options in different functions and various types of industries. Commerce graduates are eligible to do MCA, if a student had mathematics in class 12th to have a career in IT industries as an application developer/ tester. Law also is good career option after B.Com. Students can also do one year long PG Diploma in area of their interests such as: 1. Banking. 2. Insurance. 3. Capital market. 4. HR. 5. Sales, etc. They can also do industry specific certifications such as: 1. CMA. 2. LOMA. 3. CFA, etc. B.Com students can also do CS, CA and CFA.
