    You can continue your B.Tech in mechanical engineering for better scope of getting jobs in future.

    If you clear any campus interview, then you should join that. And, if you want to learn more, just join B.Tech and try to apply for government jobs.

    You can go for B.Tech and you'll be directly given admission in the second year with lateral entry provision.

    If you want to study further then go for B.Tech. It will make your career brighter. Also, if you want do a job then you must do a job oriented course in your field.
