You can take admission for B.Tech through lateral entry. Diploma holders in any stream are eligible to take admission, in the second year of the course. They must have done their Diploma after class 10th (3 year) with min 50% or after class 12th (2 year) and they need to qualify LEET. Various engineering colleges in India also offer direct admission to Diploma holders in second year of the course and in reputed institutes, after completing Diploma student gets entry in second year of B.Tech through LEET. 7 years agoDear Azeem, after completing your Diploma, you can apply for junior engineer post, or you can get any job. But, as you have done your Diploma, so I suggest you to pursue electrical engineering by doing B.Tech in electrical engineering. Doing B.Tech in Electrical Engineering can provide you exposure on a big platform, after completing your Diploma if you opt to do B.Tech it will provide you a deeper knowledge of your field and doing B.Tech can also provide you many job opportunities which is far much better than Diploma jobs.
