What can I do if I don't score well i.e. below cut-off marks in JEE 2017?

I don't want to drop a year but want to pursue B.Tech from a government college only.

    Hello Rishav,
If you score below cutoffs, it means you cannot appear for JEE Advanced. But, with AIR allotted to you, you can seek admission in any NIT's. If your domiciled state is not conducting own CET, it must be accepting JEE Mains ranking. In this case, you can seek admission in Government College of your state.
