Hi , After 12th , it totally depends on the person's interests in a specific field . You have mentioned computer science as a subject . So you have to sit and think for some time , that what do you loved most in the your school days . Is it maths ? is it Chemistry ? is it Physics ? is it computer science ?
You have to find yourself in that subject , if you really wanna achieve something good. You should not feel bored after studying that subject continuously for a longer period of time.
When you play , you do not see time . Similarly , it should happen with that field of study or subject . Students can study any subject , what they are told , because it is a compulsion , but it does not give performance .Students are wasting their degree also in compulsion because they do not wanted to do that . They are doing just for the sake of it for their parents , friends and relatives have told them . 12th standard is OK . Till 12th you can read anything and study and can get marks , because that is not your career deciding factor . 12th is compulsory. Marks are nothing , just it is a filtering criteria .
For selecting a subject or a stream for a career , it does not mean that you select that subject in which you got highest marks . Sometimes you do not get higher marks in your favourite subject . So please take time and decide what you want to study and become (Do-not put marks in between)
But from now , you have to really decide what you want in life . You have to start thinking now .
You have to find a passion in that thing or subject .
you have to find what you really want to become . you want to become , engineer , normal graduate (B.Sc etc ) . IAS officer, job in government companies , some other kind of job .
So if this is finalised , then you are done man . If you have a clear vision towards your goal and passion , then nobody can stop you .
If you want a top tier -1 engineering college , then you can get it via your hard work , goal and passion towards becoming a great engineer .
