    Pharma. D is a degree made specially to work as a pharmacist and was made keeping patients in mind. Very few Indian students pursue Pharmacy to become a pharmacist and tend to go to industry/academia instead. After a Pharma. D you can work as a clinical pharmacist, preferably at a hospital. Or, you can go into clinical research, pharmacovigilance, hosptial administration, regulatory affairs, etc. But, that's it. If you wish to go into the industry in preclinical R&D or work in the management, then you don't need a Pharma. D degree and should go for a B.Pharma M.Pharma/MBA.
