    Established in 1966, the University of Maryland Baltimore County is a public research university. The main campus of this university is located between Baltimore, MD and Washington, D.C. It is a top-ranked national university. As per a top-ranking publisher, this university ranks at #144 in the 2025 edition of National Universities. Additionally, it ranks at #74 in the Top Public Schools. As per 2024 facts, the total number of students enrolled at the university was 13,900+. The first-time first-year class year student enrollment was around 2,250 in 2024, which was the largest entering class of this university in history.
