UNO is located in Douglas County. The university is located in the heart of Omaha, Nebraska. As a city, Omaha is home to four Fortune 500 companies including Union Pacific, Peter Kiewit, Mutual of Omaha, Berkshire Hathaway. There are two campuses of the university, the Dodge Campus and Scott Campus. Additional area of the university is the Baxter arena, which serves home to various Omaha Athletics teams and hosts events throughout the year. The campus size of the university is 685 acres.
