What course is better- BBA or BBA with specialisation?

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is a three year Bachelor's degree in Commerce and Business Administration. Syllabus of BBA degree program usually includes general courses on all functional aspects of business and electives courses for specific functional specialization such as Finance, Marketing, HR, IT etc. In addition some universities offer sector specific specialization in Retail, banking, Insurance, Healthcare, Travel & Transportation, SCM etc BBA is a job oriented program which prepares you for supervisory roles in various kind of industries. If you are planning to study until BBA then you can chose any of the specialization based on your interest. But if your aim is MBA the, it is advised that you do generic BBA. Based on your understanding, then you can choose your specialization in MBA degree. Most common BBA specialisations is Marketing and Retail based on market trend and availability of jobs in market. With 4 to 6 years experience you can grow into managerial role. If you want to start your career as a Manager then you may have to do MBA after BBA.

BBA is a generic course, however BBA with a specialisation gives you an edge as it provides detailed information. BBA with specialisation prepares you well for corporate world.
