To become a microbiologist, go for B.Sc (Microbiology) and then you can do M.Sc (Microbiology). Another option is to take admission in B.Sc(Microbiology)-M.Sc(Microbiology)-dual degree. Many colleges are offering these courses. I am providing a list of some of the institutes.

You need to opt for PCB subjects at school level and then for graduation you can opt for Microbiology as one of the subjects apart from Botany, Zoology or chemsistry.
