What course should I choose among Diploma in mechanical engineering and hotel management?

I am financially not strong.

A Diploma in hotel management should be preferred to get a good career scope as per your requirement. The fees of hotel management is too high, I can understand your problem,but fee structure for hotel management is higher than diploma in engineering.
