The eligibility to become a Judge is Graduation in Law Degree or LL.B. As it can be done in two ways :- After 12th 5 years Integrated Law Degree and after Graduation 3 years Law Degree. As in order to become a Judicial Magistrate, you have to first get a law degree, after which you are qualified to take the Judicial Service exam in your State. If you are selected through that exam, you stand a chance of becoming a Judicial Magistrate or a Civil Judge. Normally those selected for the Judicial Services have to serve both as Civil Judge and as Judicial Magistrates at different times in their career.
