What cutoff score is required to get admission in a good college for MBA? I scored 85% in 10th, 76% in 12th and 60% in my B.Sc physics.

Hello Arnab,
Apologies for the late reply. The six old IIMs and some non-IIMs (MDI, SP Jain, FMS, etc) generally have their cut-offs above 99 percentile; for the new IIMs, it's 95+ and for baby ones - above 90. The exact cutoffs vary every year, so difficult to predict accurately. With your academic scores, you need to score 99+ percentile to stand a chance of getting a call from these B-schools. -
Good B-Schools accept scores of CAT GMAT CMAT. If one can score above 90 percentile in CAT, then it is considered a very good score and will get a call from good private B-School.
For IIMs in general category, you will have to score above 97 percentile to get a seat in new IIMs.
Colleges look for a better profile overall rather than a single thing like of scores.
GD/PI also play a vital role in selection procedure.
