What do companies in US look for in a resume? do they look at which college i studied or how much marks i scored in college?

It some depend on some area in which and for which job you are applying, like for medical there is an entrance test in USA they have to clear that test to get job , in both engineering and medical field there is need to have some research work in their field other option is if company recruit from India then it is good because today it is very difficult to get job after going there at their own basis , other option is if there is any good reference in USA then at the base of that person or organization they can sponsor to you for any kind of work visa
