After 12th, if you want to get into NLUs you have to take CLAT UG exam.

Or else you can take state entrance exams for law.

Like, of you are from Kerala, there is KLEE Exam to get in based on merits to government colleges.

Or if you didn't score in entrance exams you can get admission through management

There are various possible options. You can opt any subject in your 12 grade. After that you can prepare for CLAT, MHCET, or other entrance exams. If you are not interested in giving entrance exams, you can go to a college where admission is given as per your marks in your borads.
