What do I have to do to get into a top tier B school?

I have 80% in UG (BE Comp), band 8 in IELTS (S, W, R, L-7,7.5,8,8.5), and I'm preparing for GMAT. By December '19 I'll have 2 years of experience as a software developer. I want to improve my profile in any way possible and I'm don't want to settle down for any B School. How to improve my chances?

Appear for GMAT. Get a good score in both GMAT and IELTS. Have some work experience at a significant job role and have good marks in class 12th and graduation.
