what do in computer science engineering.??

hello sir i am studying in computer science & engineering.(VII Sem Running) and i get confuse between what to do for specialization i mean VB.NET/Java. whats is better line in future. so please guide me where i should go..??? thanks..

the main focus is on software part which deals with programming in C,C++,JAVA etc along with operating system and networking concepts. hardware part is limited to a compouter system and microprocessor.
