    Diploma in Sericulture is a 1 Year Undergraduate Programme within agriculture science. It focuses on silkworm rearing and raw silk manufacturing. India being one among the two largest producers of silk; sericulture plays a huge role in rural development.

    The areas of training are Silk Worm Rearing and Grain age, Breeding and genetics, Silk reeling and spinning, Grading and Testing, Seed Technology, Production Planning and Extension, Costing and management, Silk Weaving Technology, etc.
