What do we study in fashion designing? What kind of job opportunities can I get after completing fashion designing?

I was never actually interested in this field but as I grew up, I came to know that medical science is not my cup of tea. I have a creative mind and I like to paint and write poems. I have opted for biology in HSC. I am confused about choosing a career. My family advised me to take NIFT entrance.
