What do you mean by distance MBA? Do I need to attend the classes on weekends?

A distance learning MBA is meant for those who are already working with few years of experience and cannot attend any colleges. Such distance learning MBA is not approved by AICTE hence not eligible for government jobs where AICTE recognition is required. The class depends from university or university. IGNOU does not have any class as compulsory but you may attend. Pondicherry does not have compulsory attendance in the first year but has in second year that's too for 12 weeks in a semester on Saturday Sunday. Any other third rated namesake low quality universities do not have classes at all. one cannot learn MBA by just learning books and there has to be some classes, case studies, presentation, team work, assignment and project else such MBA does not provide any learning and does not add value.
