What do you mean by food and safety technology? What is its scope in the industry and salary scale?

Hello Nazim, Food and safety technology is fundamentally delivery of safe healthy and nutritious food to the population. In the Indian context this is a very nascent industry with very high chances of growth. Hence opportunities are beckoning to each and everyone who wishes to join this sector. Any type of packaged food has to be approved by government Agencies and here food and safety technology experts comes into picture. Similarly with the problem of rotting vegetables or rotting food grains in India can be overcome by these Technologist who can find ways and means to prolong the shelf life of these edible items. All in all these issues indicate potential for the industry and salaries are commensurate with what one gets across the country for similar jobs. They are reasonably good. Best wishes to you.
