Internal sliding is changing the branch within the same college. Therefore, during special rounds, candidates who have already accepted a seat in an earlier round may be considered for upgradation based on their merit and the availability of seats. However, internal sliding allows candidates to upgrade their seats within the institute they have been allotted, but it is subject to certain conditions specified by JoSAA.
