The first thing that comes to my mind is: It has broken the myth that OLD is GOLD in education scenario ! The massive growth in terms of : Campus Faculty (Both quality and quantity) Students (Both quality and quantity) The research orientation. Industry engagement in curriculum development. Intellectual capital Campus facilities. Reasonable fees International acceptance. All this within less than 2 decades when the in general people associate a good university with the time span of its existence. To be very frank, It is one of those organizations which the people dream to work with. One of the top employers in the field in this country. It INVESTS heavily and smartly in its human resources which results in mind boggling numbers of students, placements and success stories. Just one small thing It must be 5 day week for employees. Hello, Being a proud alumnus, today I dedicate all my success to the efforts and achievements to the staff and faculty members of Lovely Professional University. LPU was my home for 5 long years and made me realize my inner self and pushed me towards doing better and better day by day. One of the most important entities of any university, classes and the design of curriculum is very efficient at LPU. Instruction Plans are given out at the very beginning of the semester letting you get hands on information about every topic of the subject you are going to read, every reference you need to go through and stuff. Hi, I would like to answer this question for you. LPU is one of the largest private universities in India with a beautiful campus. Students from all over the world take the utmost interest to pursue their higher studies from this university. It is the largest single-campus university in India, with more than 30,000 students from across the world, 4000 faculty and staff. It offers more than 200 programs stretching from undergraduate to Doctorate. LPU has tie-ups with 100+ renowned academic institutions in more than 20 countries of the world including the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, and Sweden. Due to its academic rigor, the university has attracted more than 3000 students from 70 countries across the globe. I must say this university is a world in itself. To talk about some unique things I have noticed about this university are: It has a diverse culture, 6000+ international students, from more than 70 countries, which must be a great experience to study in such an environment. Nobody cares, how you showcase yourself, it's normal or something not new, meaning you can rock sunglasses, ripped jeans, girls in skirts, shorts, you are jamming with your friends somewhere, enjoying your music with blue-tooth speakers, I think you got the idea. You are free to express yourself, without being complimented or talked on. The university is big, I mean massive, you won't ever get bored, you are free to roam, for boys even its nights. I saw boys playing badminton in the middle of the night, some chatting, some having gossips, enjoying music all around the university. This university never sleeps. There is something for everyone, painting, dancing, singing, learning guitars, drums, you name it, from snooker clubs, Fitness centers, Skating zone, bowling alleys, gaming zones, shooting range, indoor and outdoor games, big playgrounds, separate for boys and girls, more than 300 shops all around the university include Dominos, CCD, Non-veg restaurant as well. LPU is one of the best universities in India. It is a UGC-approved university which has been ranked well by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its faculty, its placements, its teaching practices, etc. The university provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. The university leaves no stone unturned to shape the future of its students. It is definitely the first choice of both national and international students. LPU has become the landing place of many leading industries for recruitment. It has many top rankings in placements. The students of LPU has been placed in the top companies with high salary packages. Therefore in my opinion I would say LPU is a good university.

Choosing a University is a big decision, as our career fully depends upon that. There are some key parameters that we should keep in mind before choosing any University, like, faculty, placements, international exposure, curriculum, alumni of that university. Lovely Professional University is the largest single-campus university in India, with more than 30,000 students, over 4000 faculty members and staff, offering more than 200 programmes. Talking about Lovely Professional University, I was a student of MBA here in LPU. I will summarize you some of the key points of LPU - 1) LPU is having industrial oriented curriculum as per industry demand. 2) International exposure - students from all over the India plus International students are also studying here. 3) Placements - The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of students. Around 550+ companies visit every year for campus-recruitment of students from LPU. LPU becomes the favourite landing place for bulk recruiters like Cognizant Technology Solutions, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Amazon, Bosch Engineering, Meditab and many more 4) PEP classes - PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester that prepare you for placement drives. 5) Innovative and productive environment, more emphasize on practical sessions with the benefit of having ragging free campus. 6) You will get an online system I. e UMS ( university management system), in which you can access all the details like your time table, fee status, attendance and result record, exam, schedules and many more. 7) Security measures for girls - If your a girl and decide to reside in hostel. Then you'll have to mark you attendance daily in hostel to the floor warden and be in hostel within the entry timings. 6:00-6:30 is winters timing and in summers upto 07:30 probably. So if you don't enter into hostel till that time. You are gonna have to face the warden for explanation and may be a call to your parents. That's a bit harsh. While girls may not like this but Im sure their parents would surely do. But if you wanna live freely. There are plenty of PGs near University. Now decide whats best for you. But you'll be super safe inside the hostels than in PGs that's for sure. You can go to library from 08:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
