The following documents are required for a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) in India:
- Original passport with self-attested photocopy of its first two and last two pages including ECR and Non-ECR page
- Current address proof (Adhar Card, Pan Card and etc.)
- Documentary proof of applying for residential status, employment (copy of employment contract) or long-term visa for immigration.
- Sponsorship declaration by the sponsor (for dependent family members)
It is important to carry the original documents at the time of appointment to avoid any delay in the issuance of a Police Clearance Certificate.
