What does a software tester do? What is the scope of this field?

Software testing is an ever-growing sector of the IT industry. In order to make reliable software, testing must take place not just during development, but also before the product is released and again before it is accepted. The latest information technology revolution has increased the need for software testing. The significance of software testing has grown with the advent of big data, IoT, AI, and cloud computing. Due to increased competition, new paradigms have arisen in the testing sector. Software testing is done in sprints under agile and DevOps methodologies, and longer sprints call for more testing and automation. To reflect the growth of the software testing industry, I have outlined some key testing techniques. Well, let me tell you that Scope of software and automation testing is always good. As long as developer are going to develop the projects testers will be going to test them and even if developer stop developing then also tester will test the maintenance and enhancements etc. As we know that customer will never going to accept the product with complete testing, because this is our duty to give are client bug-free product. Scope of the testing: 1. High growth rate. 2. Get placed in software testing industry. 3. High demand in market. Testing is as important domain in IT sector as of development. Scope of testing is really very good. And more over noways everything become automation. So the candidate should be aware of all automation testing toolslike- JMeter, selenium etc. In recent times, testing is really a good career option. From being a tester, one can grow to become a senior tester, one can also become QA lead or QA manager, from test lead to a test manager.
