    There are plenty of different tasks ANM nurses take on, though not to mention the main ones above, offering primary health services to individuals or communities. They are trained in the administration of drugs, dressing of wounds, and first-aid.
    ANM Nurses also assist in the management of chronic diseases by following up on vital signs and dispensing prescribed medications. Furthermore, ANM Nurses are involved in health assessment and screening. The nurses do a physical examination, collect specimens for diagnostic testing, and obtain a patient's medical history. ANM Nurses play a key role in maternal and child healthcare, too.
