What does Child Labor mean when it comes to Employment Rights?

<p>In India, child labor refers to the employment of children under the age of&nbsp;<strong>14 years</strong>. The&nbsp;<strong>Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act of 1986</strong>&nbsp;prohibits the employment of children in hazardous occupations and regulates their working conditions in other occupations.</p><p>The act also provides for the rehabilitation of child laborers. Child labor is a serious problem in India, with an estimated 12 million children working in various sectors, including agriculture, domestic work, and the informal sector. Child labor deprives children of their right to education, exposes them to health and safety hazards, and traps them in a cycle of poverty.</p>
