    History, geography, political Science, economics are the main subjects for UPSC exam. Then some general mathematics and Science you need to study.

    Hi Priya,
    UPSC stream means which subject you are going to select as your optional paper for UPSC Mains exam. You can take any subject as your optional. It might be history, geography, hindi, English, physics, chemistry, engineering (ee, civil, mechanical), anthropology, political Science, economics etc. In common, you need to study history, geography, political Science, economics for UPSC examination.
